IECEx-recommended training centre

Trainor is among the first training centres to be acknowledged as a RTP (Recognised Training Provider) of IECEx. This means that the International Electrotechnical Commission has confirmed that Trainor meets the strict quality requirements concerning training of personnel working in potentially explosive atmospheres.

"Such international recognition is a proof of quality for our training, domestically and internationally, and a step in the right direction for our globalization strategy," explains Sales Manager Geir Larsen. The recognition is the result of hard work and a strict focus on professional quality for a number of years. Trainor has been the largest supplier of Ex training in Norway for some time and there has been major expansion from the head office in Tønsberg in recent years.

"We take a positive approach to international certification schemes that quality-assure personnel who will be working in Ex atmospheres," says Geir Larsen and adds that this is especially important when the workforce will be working across national borders. For this reason we also offer preparatory courses for the IECEx CoPC - personnel certification exam.
