Press release -

All classroom courses cancelled

Based on the authorities' recommendations for measures to limit the spreading of coronavirus, all of our scheduled classroom courses have been canceled until March 26th 2020. E-learning and webinar solutions replace traditional classroom training where possible.

- Of course, we support the authorities' measures and recommendations, and have informed our customers that all scheduled classroom courses will be canceled for the next two weeks. We are now working to maintain customers' learning needs through e-learning, webinars and other digital learning solutions, says CEO Stian Martinsen of Trainor Elsikkerhet AS.

A portfolio of digital learning content

Trainor already has a large portfolio of digital learning content, with over 30 e-learning courses for professionals, as well as corporate internal e-learning for several clients. The courses are available in several languages. - We also have good experience from running certain courses as a webinar, and this will quickly roll out on a larger scale now that people can no longer gather in classrooms. Both instructors and technical personnel are ready to use alternative forms of teaching at very short notice, and I am proud of the flexibility and effort all of our staff are putting into a demanding situation for everyone, says Martinsen.

Martinsen believes that opportunities for competence enhancement are important and correct in times like this: - Many people cannot do their daily work now in connection with quarantine and other measures. Then it may make sense to spend the time raising necessary competence, says Martinsen, who emphasizes that both e-learning and webinar solutions can be implemented exactly where each one is located.

Trainor has ordered all of its employees who have the opportunity to work from home to do so. All functions are in operation and support and reception (telephone) are operated as normal. New and old customers are requested to contact via switchboard +47 33 37 89 00 or post@trainor.no.
