The third annual ATEX & IECEx Seminar coming up in August

Hosted by Trainor Vietnam, personnel working in potential explosive atmospheres (Ex) will gather in the Sheraton Saigon Hotel and Towers, Ho Chi Minh City, August 30th 2019, for the 3rd annual ATEX & IECEx Seminar, focusing on safety in hazardous areas.


Standards of Ex competence

ATEX & IECEx Seminar is the meeting place for personnel directly or indirectly working in potential explosive atmospheres (Ex).The aim of the conference is to present the recent updates to the IEC standards and rules and to systemize the world standards related to Ex competence.

For the last three years, Trainor Vietnam, IECEx Recognized Training Provider and Certification Body for Certificates of Personnel Competencies (CoPC), has been hosting this seminar.

This year you'll meet among others Mr. Mark Amos, Business Manager, IECEx Secretariat, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi, Deputy Director, the Department of Standards of Vietnam, Mr. Einar Thóren, Operations Manager, Trainor Certification, the representatives from our excellent Malaysian partner, Avernoble/ Capeserve, our experienced instructors, examiners and other guest speakers.

The future of e-learning

Moreover, it is also the first time you can try out how we implement Trainor Virtual Reality (VR) in the practical training of flash arc accident and firefighting. This high technology will also be the future of Ex practical training carried out byTrainor. Fortunately, the two previous seminars were organized successfully. Approximately 100 staffs and engineers from prestigious oil and gas companies in Vietnam such as PV Drilling, Biendong POC, Phuquoc POC, PTSC M&C, PTSC POS, PTSC PS, PV Gas, VSP, PVFCCo and etc. attended last year's event.
