    Every year there are a number of gas leaks in the petroleum industry. The Petroleum Safety Authority is worried that one of these relatively frequent leaks could cause a serious accident in a land-based or offshore installation. To avoid the possibility leaking gas igniting and creating hazardous situations, there are strict requirements for equipment and training.
